a masterpiece

today, as i was sitting down combing a knot out of my three-year old's hair- another mundane moment in our regular routine called life- she looks up at me, cups my face in her hands and says, "GOD PAINTED YOU!"

oh God, help me to be the masterpiece my daughter believes me to be- and that you know me to be.
